Muzza respects intellectual property rights and is committed to responding to valid takedown notices in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We take copyright infringement claims seriously and work to address them promptly and fairly.
This policy explains how to file a takedown notice for infringing content, the required information, the counter-notification process, and the platform's procedures for handling these requests.
What Constitutes Copyright Infringement
Copyright infringement is any unauthorized use of copyrighted material on our platform, including but not limited to:
- Using copyrighted material without permission from the rights holder
- Reproducing or distributing protected works without a license
- Using copyrighted character images, text, or visual content without authorization
AI-Generated Content and Intellectual Property
Since the platform uses artificial intelligence to generate text and images, we clarify the following:
- AI-generated content may unintentionally resemble copyrighted works. If you discover a similarity, please report it and we will take appropriate action.
- Users may not intentionally direct the AI to reproduce copyrighted works.
- The copyright status of AI-generated content is subject to applicable laws and may evolve as legislation develops.
Fair Use
We acknowledge that certain uses may fall under the doctrine of "Fair Use." When evaluating takedown notices, we consider:
- The purpose and character of the use (commercial, educational, or creative)
- The nature of the copyrighted work
- The amount and substantiality of the portion used in relation to the work as a whole
- The effect on the potential market value of the original work
How to File a Takedown Notice
If you believe that content on the Muzza platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a takedown notice to our designated agent via email:

Required Information in a Takedown Notice
A takedown notice must include the following information to be valid:
- Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed
- Identification of the infringing content on the platform with sufficient information to enable us to locate it
- Contact information: full name, mailing address, email address, and phone number
- A good faith statement that you believe the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, their agent, or the law
- A statement of accuracy under penalty of perjury that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner
- The electronic or physical signature of the copyright owner or their authorized agent
Platform Procedures and Timelines
Upon receiving a valid and complete takedown notice, Muzza will take the following actions:
- Within 48 hours: Acknowledge receipt of the notice via email
- Within 5 business days: Review the notice and investigate the claim
- Upon confirmation: Remove the infringing content or disable access to it immediately
- Notify the alleged infringer about the removal
- Enforce the repeat infringers policy, which may result in termination of repeat infringers' accounts
Counter-Notification
If you believe that the content that was removed does not infringe copyright or that you have the right to use it, you may file a counter-notification. The counter-notification must include:
- Identification of the content that was removed and its previous location on the platform
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith that the content was removed by mistake or due to misidentification of the material
- Consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate court
- Your electronic or physical signature
After receiving a valid counter-notification, we will restore the content within 10 to 14 business days unless the copyright owner files a court action to prevent the restoration.

Limitation of Liability
Muzza acts in good faith when processing takedown notices and counter-notifications. The platform assumes no liability for any disputes between the parties involved regarding intellectual property rights.
